This was our last morning in BA and we were very sad about it as we really loved it! We stayed in the Palermo area which was very vibey (only way to describe it haha) very cool cafes, bars, clothes shops etc. We both felt like we could move there tomorrow!! Before we left we had one last brunch to squeeze in so we nipped back over to Moshu Treehouse for a delicious breakfast – amazing granola bowl and some great coffee – highly recommend it.

A quick wave goodbye to the nice security man who buzzed us in and out of the Airbnb and we were in a taxi to the airport and on to Santiago.

A 2 hour flight and we had arrived. It was so cool flying in over Santiago as the Andes were crazy!!

We arrived at 3pm so we didn’t have long to explore as we were leaving the next morning to head to Patagonia so we got our sports gear on and headed to San Cristobal Hill for a view over the city.

It was absolutely roasting and with not an ounce of water between us you can imagine how happy we were to get to the top and see a wee woman selling bottled water!! The views were insane but after 5 mins and some pics we decided to run back down to try and get back in time to watch sunset from the tallest building in South America.
We made it with 20mins to spare and just about had time to order two drinks and got very very lucky with two seats right at the window so we perched up and watched the best sunset we’d seen in South America to date.

We grabbed some pizza and had an early night in prep for our morning flight! From what we seen of Santiago we liked it, only wish we could have spent more time here.
G&L xx
